NFS is non-profit making social group comprising prominent celebrities and social leaders who are dedicated for promoting Nepali art, culture and literature at the international arena through Nepali films.NFS performs its programs in collaboration and partnership with individuals and agencies at government, inter-government, Non- government and corporate level. NFS’s key activities include to organize national and international film festivals; conduct seminars and workshops related to film: design and manage campaigns, fairs and events: undertake research and studies on Nepali art, culture and literature: provides inputs to government of Nepal and other stakeholders for appropriate policies, laws and programs for the development of Nepali films, among others. Most notably, NFS has been organizing KATHMNDU INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (KIFF) in Nepal every year since 2014.

GLOBAL NEPALI FILMI AWARD (GNFA) Colorado, USA was established 2016 with the aim of developing and promoting Nepali film and Culture in international market.GNFA is being organized with the message and slogan of Nepali Cinema:”village to Globe”. The key objective of the GNFA is to make Nepali films known to the international Audience and strengthen ties of Nepal with the Nepali people residing in abroad.

Many Nepali citizen has been migration, abroad & Nepali people over the period and this will be continued in the months and years to a large extend in many countries.NFS strongly believes that GNFA would greatly contribute to expand, business of Nepali films in the World with increased number of Nepali people and their promotional activities.
